The Tallahassee Ballet is finally offering ballet classes for the general public! In all my talk about the new Junior League cookbook, some of you may have forgotten about my first passion...this incredible ballet company. This audition-based ballet company has brought the fine art of classical ballet to our community for nearly 40 years. A professional training ground, TTB dancers have gone on to dance with major ballet companies, including my sister, who currently dances with The Boston Ballet. I grew up dancing in the company - for 12 years - and currently serve on the TTB Board of Directors. I can honestly say this is a phenomenal place to dance, and the classes starting the fall will be top-notch.

Classes are available for as young as 18 months (a Mommy & Me class, which I will start Logan in December, once she is 18 months), and the schedule includes Creative Movement, Ballet, Jazz/Hip Hop & Ballet for Boys for kids, as well as a variety of classes for adults.

I wish I had a picture on my computer of me in a TuTu (not really), or even one of my beautiful ballerina sister, but I don't. I guess her headshot from Boston Ballet's website will have to do....sorry, Kat. How long until you make me take this down? I only will if you send me another pic of you dancing :-).
