Festive Fetes

December found Logan partaking in many parties and playdates with friends. Though our schedule was full, we had a great time celebrating the joy of the season with all our little playmates. Logan is a lucky, lucky girl to have so many friends (and her parents can't complain either about the adult "playdates" with our wonderful friends).

We started in early December with what is quickly becoming an annual Christmas dinner with the Ginn's. We planned this year early enough to accommodate still pregnant Shannon, and though we had seven rambunctious peanuts ransacking the house, we grown ups still managed to enjoy the delicious food and spirits.

"Bat-Jack."
Logan tried and tried to keep up with the big kids.
Peyton couldn't get the batman mask away from Jack, so he went with the next best thing....Bridal Minnie. Too cute!

ATTACK on Miss Amanda. She is more patient than I!

After dress-up, and a little roll in the muddy yard (did I mention it rained NON-STOP here for the first two weeks of the month?), the kids needed a bath. How clean do you think they got with five in this tub?

The next weekend was Emerson and Regan's Christmas Cookie Exchange. Sadly, both of the hostesses were sicky, and so they couldn't come to their own party! More cookies for us :-). We missed the lovely ladies, though they do throw a fabulous fete!

I'm playing the part of a GIANT in this picture.

Dawson is listening intently to whatever Logan is telling him.

Miss Kaley stopped by to check-out Logan's new toys the weekend after Christmas.
And we had a fun playdate the week of New Year's at Jack's house. Can you find the little host?

There he is!Precious girls Kaley and Eva.

Can you believe how big Alden and Carson are getting? They are starting to look more and more alike. I really dig the hip "Blues Baby" tees.

Bright-eyed Tyler is the spitting image of his big brother. What a sweety.

Logan discovered Jack's Cozy Coupe and LOVED it so much that her Nana and Papa bought her one for Christmas. Look at one-year old Liam....he is on the short list of Logan's potential husbands (actually, with all the boys in our lives it is a rather long list).

Not really wanting to share with Jack here....we must work on the sharing thing. And just after the New Year....little Liam's BIG day celebration!

My last day of sheer bliss before returning to work, I introduced Logan to "ladies who lunch" and we joined our sassy friends Emerson and Autumn at FGF. I didn't bring the camera, but fortunately ABM did....a few pics here.

Aren't we blessed with an abundance of friends?
