Tomorrow morning will find us at Faith Preschool for Logan's 1st day of preschool. In the very building that was my first school in Tallahassee, the one where her daddy grew up going to church, the chapel where we married five years ago and the same place we baptized our sweet girl 20 months ago; in this very same building full of happy moments for our family, Logan will begin her love for learning.
Logan - these are my simple wishes for you tomorrow morning and beyond....
A gentle memory of The Kissing Hand that you can softly press to her cheek and whisper "mommy loves you, mommy loves you," whenever you are lonely {and a knowledge that mommy will doing the same}.
A "nose pressed to the glass" curiosity for all you will learn this year.
A straight-sitting, quietly listening girl, full of anticipation for the "merry go round" adventure in which you are embarking.
A day full of fun - the kind with sprinkles on top :).
And a smile this big when I return to pick you up tomorrow afternoon.
Can't wait to share the memories of tomorrow morning with you. Mommy and daddy love you! {Photos courtesy of last week's vacation}.

Awww you made me tear up a bit! Are you sure LE needs school?? I still think the better idea is to put little bit in my pocket & carry her smiling face around with me!! I could use her sweet self to keep my stress levels down! {Although, her Aunt Bebe ALSO went to Faith, & look how smart I turned out} ;-)
I know the feeling! She will do great... don't be afraid to call! Good luck!
Good luck, Logan! I know you will do great! You have familiar faces in your class, and you are going to have SO much fun! And don't worry about mommy...she's going to be just fine too. :)
Good luck LE!
