Is this what you typically look like when home for a Sick Day????
Yes, that is her ballet costume for a recital that won't happen until April 30th {and yes, she is wearing it with panties...mommy is a risk taker, let me tell you!}. The costume is crammed atop her "silfy" nightgown, pajama pants {because she refuses to sleep under the covers regardless of the sub-arctic temperatures} and let's not forget the jeweled accessories and sparkly Dorothy shoes.
LE and I were home most of the weekend fighting the cold that ran through her preschool classroom and by Monday finally started antibiotics and started turning the corner back to health. The day was filled with dress-up and "tend" {or better known in the English language as PREtend}.
Please note the outfit from behind....and the rats nest of hair....

The good news is that being sick and sequestered to home left us time for a few additional Valentine's projects for daddy.
A labeled fruit basket with cheesy stickers from Twig & Thistle...Please note the outfit from behind....and the rats nest of hair....

And Pioneer Woman heart-shaped cookies {her powdered sugar stenciled letters look WAY better than ours, but you get the point and so did daddy}.
I did also manage to get her into normal attire before the end of the day....peanut opening her Valentine's Day treats here looks pretty ragged.
Hope your heart day was as full of crazy clothing and fruity crafts as ours :).

That is the sweetest sick-at-home snuggle buggle. I can't let Emerson see this because I have hidden her costume and I know she will start with, "Wogan has her costume..." Glad she is feeling better!
Love the outfit and crazy hair and love her precious little head to death!
Glad she is feeling better! So fun to run into you guys at the park!
Love how in the second picture, she is checking to see that her earrings are still on! That face is just too cute. Love her too much, Nana Boo
