Anyone else feel like they are still recovering from a Monday night Halloween? Parties, candy, costumes, a few tricks, a few too many treats. We went non-stop every day leading up to the spooky day, and then didn't stop all week long. We were so grateful when Friday actually came last week, and yet, we just kept going... right into early November.
Lots of pictures in this post, so I'll be a woman of few words. Or at least I'll try.
The last weekend of October was Parent's Weekend at FSU. Noon game. Nice, clear day, with highs in the low 70s. Perfect day for a peanut's first Florida State football game.

| A little pre-game ball toss with Campbell at the tailgate. |
| Playing in the knock-out roses. Yes, they are thorny. Kiddos didn't seem to notice. |
| Popcorn and pre-game entertainment from her perch on daddy's lap. What is not to love about this football stuff? |
| Half-time request: I want to go home. You got it, sister. After a quick photo to show off our winning team {which frankly has been pretty rare these days}. |
| About 20 seconds after we pulled out of the parking spot. Football is exhausting. |

Sunday afternoon found us at the annual
Pope Pumpkin Party.
| A big crowd of cute friends! |
| Tax Man promptly went to work on the pumpkin carving. |
| While LE and I ate.... |
| He worked. |
| And worked. |
| The fruits of his labor! |
His hard work didn't result in a prize {he is certain the contest is rigged :)}, but we were still proud!
| Our little hostess Belle Lilly couldn't decide - hot dog or cupcake? Both! Yum... what a great combination. |

Whew. Tired of pictures yet? And we haven't even made it to Halloween day!
A morning costume parade and party at school...
Followed by an evening with great friends, great food and sweet storybook character costumes...
Even for select adults.
Shannon may need to come to grips with her love of costumes. I'm fairly certain she is still paying the price for making Ben do this.
| Papa even stopped by to join us for a bit before going to pick Nana up from the airport. |
It was a fun
night week-long celebration for all.
Now on to Turkey time!
