Memorial Day Wedding Weekend

My cousin Todd married his high school sweetheart Lauren over Memorial Day weekend in Jacksonville. I love holiday weekend weddings (mostly because we got married over one :-). It is just much nicer to have two whole days after the busy Friday & Saturday to relax. We stayed at the reception site - the World Golf Village. It was really convenient to have our room for the reception. When Logan got tired, all I had to do was take her up to our room, get her bathed for bed and put her down to sleep. Then, I was able to go right back to the party. JUST KIDDING! Actually, we just got her to sleep, snuggled her up in the car seat, and brought her back down to the party, where she slept for several hours until the excitement of the bride and groom's departure at midnight woke her. I've included quite a few pics from the wonderful weekend....

At the Rehearsal Dinner on Friday night. Logan is wearing a dress my mom made from two Anthropologie dinner napkins....so creative!
Playing Peek-a-Boo with that baby in the mirror at our hotel!

They look so much alike!

But, I have had some people comment that she is starting to resemble me some...what do you think?

Her other mother, Aunt "Bebe"

The bride and groom's first dance. They just exuded happiness all day.

Where's Logan?

Peek-a-Boo! She's such a ham!

Logan's cousin Maggie. She is two months older than Logan, but she was actually two months early (just over 2 lbs at birth). Logan was born on Maggie's due date! Maggie has walking down pat.

The groom's sister, Julie, joining our pic. She is due with baby boy #2 in August.

Soundly sleeping baby....despite lots of music and dancing!

Me with Beth and Brandon. Aren't they cute?

I love this pic of my mom and Beth. They are so similar!

By Sunday, the torrential downpours had finally stopped and we managed to enjoy some time by the pool. Here is Logan reading her "a boo." She LOVES books. Everytime we walk into her room now, she points to her bookshelf and says "a boo, a boo, a boo" over and over until we walk over and let her select one off the shelf. She is obsessed right now with "10 Things I Can do to Help my World" (compliments of Aunt Kat, naturally). Some nights Blaine has to read that book to her at least three times!

She likes the pool! We start mommy and me water babies classes on July 6.
Blaine starting Logan's golf lessons here. He is convinced she can go to college on a golf scholarship. Not so sure how I feel about that....can golfers wear bows in their hair???
