An action-packed play-by-play of the Click Chicks+Tax Man's Easter Sunday....
7:30 am - Tax Man gets up to play Bunny in the yard.
7:55 am - Chicks awake to discover the gifts of an over-zealous Bunny {was your Bunny as generous/gluttonous????}8:00 am - Get really excited about the Carnival of the Animals book and CD the Bunny left {this is the book Peanut asked her music teacher to borrow earlier this year, so she was thrilled the Bunny brought her her own copy. In fact, everything else in and around her basket paled in comparison}.
8:05 am - Check out the rest of the treats the Bunny left behind. New shoes = BIG hit {though she later told us they hurt her feet and Tax Man gave Mommy a hard time. The girl has to learn to sacrifice comfort for style, right?!?}
8:15-9:45 am - Not real sure, but this time disappeared into thin air as we enjoyed sausage croissants and new toys.
9:50 am - We should be leaving for church, but instead are hunting for eggs and looking really stinking cute while doing it.9:55 am - If I hold my dress up, I can gather more eggs.
10 am - Proof that mommy and daddy are almost dressed for church {can someone please come pressure wash that door??....must teach Daisy to stop scratching it}.
10:05 am - The moments are slipping by, but we are still in the yard. Is it okay to still put diaper covers over panties?
10:07 am - We have 8 minutes until the Kids' Easter Story begins at church {and we are exactly 14 minutes from church}, but we have only just discovered the Golden Egg....
10:08 am - Look mommy, it is almost as big as me!
10:22 am - Arrive at Church {a bit late for the Easter Story, but there nonetheless}.
11 am - Big church - make it through the first 15 minutes {thanks jelly beans and silenced iPhone}. Daddy and LE leave for nursery.
Noon - Daddy and LE return back to Big church to discover we still have communion before the conclusion of service. Apparently Faith Presbyterian is a little Baptist today :). Again, thanks to iPhone and pencil, make it through the last 30 minutes of service. That's right, church didn't end until 12:30 pm on the nose - I wasn't kidding with the baptist joke!
12:30 pm - Say quick hellos to friends at church and scramble out to get to Easter dinner at Nana & Papa's.
12:45 pm - Buy time awaiting everyone's arrival with a little egg hunt......and snuggles with Gwanpa Gary....
Jack found an egg!
....and Paigey knows what to do around a camera - CHEESE!
1 pm - Torture neighbor's cat....
1:05 pm - Take pictures with my future boyfriend.
...to mark that we love one another dearly before he breaks my heart :).
1:10 pm - Future Boyfriend teaches me 'mean face.'
1:15 pm - Take a few family shots so Tax Man can get his tie off.
All afternoon - Enjoy lots of delicious food and family.
4:30 pm - Return home for a little April shower - refuse to remove my Easter dress.8 pm - With heavy eyes, respond to Tax Man's "it is time for bed" with "It was a fun day, daddy."
Yes, Peanut, it was a fun day; it really 'twas.
Happy Easter!

I LOVE your timeline and LE's Easter basket. It reminds me of mine growing up!!
Yes, the Easter Bunny was very generous at your house! I have a rule that if it doesn't fit in the basket, the EB doesn't bring it. That's kind of like Santa bringing stocking stuffers that don't fit in the stocking. =:-) {that's a bunny emoticon}. Thanks for letting my chickadees and parents join your Easter celebration, while we were out of town.
