"Godding"

It is humbling to realize - despite days that seem chaotic and stressful - that some things we do as parents are correct. Though we frequently forget to express thankfulness in an adequate manner, sweet girl does not. 

During prayers this week, LE prayed for "Uncle Mike," and post {really long}-prayer, she proudly declared, "I remembered to thank God for Uncle Mike when I was "Godding," Mommy!"

Whatever you call it - praying or, like LE, "Godding" it is nice to hear her sweet voice realize gratitude.

"Reading" from her bible as mommy and daddy loaded up the car for their anniversary getaway.
